An explosion occurred at a headquarters belonging to the Hashd al-Shaabi in the southeast of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
In a statement issued by the Hashd al-Shaabi, it was reported that the explosion at the headquarters near Bismaya, located in the southeast of Baghdad, was caused by explosive materials remaining from the era of the terrorist organization ISIS. The statement confirmed that 3 people lost their lives in the explosion.
Emphasizing that all necessary precautions have been taken and the situation is under control, the statement noted that teams affiliated with the Hashd al-Shaabi are continuing their efforts to clear remnants of terrorism in the area to ensure the safety of citizens.
Local sources reported that 7 surrounding houses were damaged as a result of the explosion.
