Explosion occurs in city on Turkey's border: At least 7 people lost their lives
A violent explosion has been reported in the city of Azaz, near Syria's border with Turkey. 7 people lost their lives in the blast.

At least seven people were killed and 30 others were injured after a car bomb exploded in a crowded marketplace in Azaz, an opposition-held city in the northern part of Syria's Aleppo province.
The explosion occurred in Azaz, which is held by opposition groups in Syria, at a time when shopping was intense following the iftar hour.
According to a report by Reuters, the explosion took place late Saturday as residents were shopping after breaking their fast.
The Civil Defense (White Helmets) group operating in Syria stated that at least 30 people were injured as a result of the explosion in the crowded marketplace, and that some of the seriously injured were taken to local hospitals. In its initial post on X, the group stated that according to their assessments, three people, including two children, were seen to have died in the explosion.
The White Helmets stated the following in their announcement:
"Our teams rescued and treated a large number of injured people and conducted inspections in the area. The explosion also caused extensive damage to shops, civilian homes, cars, and motorcycles in the area."
3 civilians were killed (two children and an unidentified woman), and 5 civilians, including a child, were injured, in an initial toll after a car bomb explosion that occurred in a market in the city of Azaz, north of #Aleppo, after midnight today, Sunday, March 31.
