It was stated that Hatcher did not know about this condition until she was carrying a baby in both of her wombs this spring.
According to NBC, when Hatcher's husband first told her the news, she almost didn't believe it, saying, "No, you're lying."
A double uterus is seen in approximately 0.3 percent of women. According to research, the abnormality occurs in the very early stages of embryonic development. Dr. Hayley Miller from Stanford University School of Medicine said, "It is very surprising that both eggs were fertilized at the same time." Doctors are making special preparations as there can be different complications during the births of women with two uteri.
