Brazilian influencer Maria Sofia Valim has passed away at the age of 19 following a liver transplant.
Sofia, the daughter of Vitor Valim, the mayor of Caucaia in Brazil's Ceara state, was last seen at a Taylor Swift concert.
'HER BODY COULD NOT WITHSTAND IT'
Her father, who is a politician, announced his daughter's death as follows:
"It is with the deepest pain and sadness that I inform everyone of the passing of my beloved daughter, Sofia. Unfortunately, her body could not withstand it. I thank everyone for the prayers and affection dedicated to me and my family in this moment of extreme pain."
HE HAD SAID 'WE REQUEST PRAYERS'
Maria Sofia's father, Vitor Valim, had stated the following in an announcement he made last week:
"My eldest daughter, Sofia, is experiencing a serious health issue, and this situation led her to be placed on the liver transplant waiting list this morning. We request that everyone who loves her pray for my daughter."
