One person has died and four others were injured in a fire at an oil refinery in the city of Shushtar, in Iran's Khuzestan province.

In a statement from the Shushtar Governor's Office, it was noted that numerous firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene to respond to the blaze, and it was reported that 1 person has lost their life and 4 people have been injured so far.
The statement indicated that the fire started after a tanker collided with gasoline storage tanks and that extinguishing efforts are ongoing.
