As the US and Israel continue their attacks against Iran, a fire broke out on the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier, which is stationed in the Middle East region.

In a statement issued by the US Naval Forces Central Command, it was stated that the fire broke out in the ship's main laundry room and that the incident had no connection to the military conflicts in the region.

The statement said, "Two sailors are currently receiving medical treatment for non-life-threatening injuries and are in stable condition. The ship's propulsion system did not sustain any damage and the aircraft carrier remains fully operational."

It was noted that further information regarding the incident would be shared with the public as it becomes available.

The statement also recalled that the Ford aircraft carrier is operating in the Red Sea to support military activities conducted by the US as part of its "Operation Epic Fury" against Iran.
