Flat Earth theorists forced to accept the truth in Antarctica

Flat Earth theorists forced to accept the truth in Antarctica

The 'Final Experiment' project, led by Colorado pastor Will Duffy, aimed to put an end to the debates regarding the shape of the Earth. To this end, an expedition was organized to Antarctica. The core idea of the project was to observe the Sun shining over the icy continent at midnight; this would only be possible if the Earth were round.

Flat Earth proponents had claimed that the Antarctic Treaty, signed in 1959, was created to prevent civilians from understanding this truth. However, the expedition team, which included YouTuber Jeran Capanella, admitted that this theory was wrong after spending approximately 32,000 dollars. In a live broadcast on his YouTube channel on Saturday, December 14, Capanella stated, 'I thought there was no 24-hour sun in Antarctica. Actually, I was quite sure of it. I sincerely believed it. But sometimes we make mistakes in our lives.'

The midnight sun is a phenomenon that causes confusion even among Flat Earth proponents. Some proponents believe that this phenomenon could also occur in the Flat Earth model. However, the findings obtained as a result of this trip have once again revealed the fact that the Earth is round.
