Foreign Ministry condemns Israel's attacks in Syria
The Ministry stated that the attacks on Quneitra and Daraa target Syria's sovereignty and constitute a violation of international law.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has "strongly" condemned Israel's attacks on the Syrian provinces of Quneitra and Daraa. In a written statement issued by the Ministry, it was emphasized that the attacks target the territorial integrity, unity, and sovereignty of Syria.

The statement included the following: "We strongly condemn the attacks carried out by Israel against Quneitra and Daraa, which are contrary to the territorial integrity, unity, and sovereignty of Syria."
The Ministry stated that the attacks disregard the safety of life and property of civilians in the region, noting that these actions are a clear violation of international law as well as the 1974 Agreement on Disengagement of Forces.
The statement further expressed that the developments recorded in Syria since December 2024 and regional stability are being targeted. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its call for the international community to fulfill its responsibilities to bring an end to the attacks.
