Former US President Biden: We still have a lot of work to do
As he departed Washington, former US President Joe Biden's final words were, "We listened to (US President Donald Trump's) inaugural address. We still have a lot of work to do."
Biden made statements to reporters before departing Washington for a vacation in California.
"We are leaving office, but our fight is not over," said Biden, referring to President Trump's inaugural address, adding, "We still have a lot of work to do."
Stating that he would remember the past 4 years with "honor," Biden expressed that the team he worked with was a "dream team."
