Former US President Trump's 'immigrant' statement: If elected, he will carry out the 'largest deportation' operation in the country's history

Former US President Donald Trump stated at a campaign rally in the state of Nevada that he would remove immigrants from the country.

According to a report by CNN, Trump stated that immigrants are invading the US and promised that if elected, it would be the "largest deportation in the country's history."

POLICIES WILL BE EXPANDED

Stating that his policies regarding immigrants will be expanded, Trump said that "in addition to transferring a large portion of federal law enforcement to immigration-related units, some forces from outside the country will also be pulled to the southern border."

INCREASE IN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS AT THE US-MEXICO BORDER

The US is halting railway operations at two points to control illegal immigrants at the Mexican border.

In a statement made by the Customs and Border Protection (CBP), it was stated that the number of immigrants entering the US illegally has increased.

In the statement, it was announced that operations at international railway crossing bridges in the cities of El Paso and Eagle Pass in the state of Texas, which borders Mexico, would be temporarily suspended in order to direct personnel to the region for the control of irregular immigrants.

Emphasizing that border security will continue to be a priority as required, the statement noted that the increase in the number of immigrants is caused by transnational criminal organizations and cartels misinforming people.

The statement pointed out that smuggling organizations bringing immigrants from Mexico via freight trains have recently been revived.

The statement, which included information that additional measures are being implemented to address this situation and to reinforce the region with personnel, noted that the practice would come into effect at 08:00 local time.

On October 28, the CBP closed one of the two bridges at the border gate in Eagle Pass, known as the busiest corridor for illegal crossings from Mexico to the US, to vehicle entry.
