France seizes 9 tons of cocaine on Turkish ship

According to the report by Gazete Duvar, the ship had departed from Istanbul on November 12, 2024. The ship, which stopped in the West African country of Guinea-Bissau on December 10, later headed toward the island of Martinique. The French Navy stopped the ship there and carried out a comprehensive search.
It is stated that the Haliç-Equality is in scrap condition and has a market value of around 200 thousand dollars. The investigation into the operation is ongoing.
