French President Macron makes statement on 'government'
Following the fall of the government as a result of the vote in the French parliament, a statement has come from French President Macron.
Macron first stated that he would remain in office until the end of his term.
Commenting on the fall of the government, French President Macron remarked: "The government fell because right-wing and left-wing parties formed an alliance against the republic."
