'Funeral' exchange between Russia and Ukraine
Russian Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky announced that, within the framework of the agreement reached in Istanbul, the bodies of 1,000 Ukrainian soldiers were exchanged for the bodies of 19 Russian soldiers.
Another prisoner exchange has taken place between Russia and Ukraine. In a statement, Russian Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky said, "As agreed in Istanbul, today we handed over the bodies of 1,000 Ukrainian soldiers to the Ukrainian side, while 19 Russian bodies were returned, the same number as a month ago."
Russia has delivered more than 3,000 soldiers' bodies to Ukraine under the scope of the agreement reached in Istanbul.
