Horrifying scenes in Syria! Mass graves near Damascus captured on camera: '75,000 people buried in this area'
Following the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria, an area in the Husseiniya region near the capital Damascus, alleged to be a mass grave site, has been filmed from the air by a drone.
After jihadist groups led by HTS seized the capital, Damascus, on December 8, Bashar al-Assad left the country and took refuge in Russia with his family.
Following the collapse of the 61-year-old Ba'ath regime in Syria, search and scanning operations for prisons and mass graves continue across the country. While images recorded at Sednaya Prison remain a major topic of discussion, new footage has emerged from Syria.
AA captured images of the area in the Husseiniya region, located behind Damascus Airport, which is alleged to be a mass grave site.
It is suspected that more than 100 pits, approximately 20 meters deep, were used as graves in the area and that bodies were buried there in layers.
Meanwhile, footage of another mass grave located in Al-Zaynabiyah has been obtained.
According to the claim reported by NTV, 75,000 people are buried in this region.
