Among the speculations, a claim on social media has found its place on the agenda. It was claimed on social media that The Simpsons predicted the fire in an episode from 20 years ago.

A TikTok account with the username "twinski.tv" exposed an episode of the animated series that appears to have foretold the fiery scenario that Southern Californians are currently experiencing.

As images that appear to be taken from the episode appeared on the screen, the narrator of the TikTok video stated, "In the 12th episode of the 18th season, titled 'Little Big Girl,' Springfield faces a devastating wildfire that threatens the town and its residents. The scenes in this episode are eerily similar to recent events. Wildfires spreading to various regions, property destruction, and the relentless efforts of firefighters to bring the flames under control."

THE RESULT OF A PRANK?

The presenter speaking in the episode, which aired in 2007, said, "Bart causes a fire in one of his pranks that quickly spirals out of control, showing how vulnerable communities are in the face of natural disasters."
