Germany will not grant citizenship to those who share slogans in support of Palestine: Saying 'From the river to the sea' is banned
According to a decision taken in Germany, those who post the famous 'From the river to the sea' slogan of the Palestinian resistance on their social media accounts will not be allowed to obtain citizenship.

The report stated that the regulation prepared by the Ministry of the Interior for those applying for German citizenship specifies that citizenship will not be granted on the grounds of using the 'From the river to the sea' slogan.
In a report by the North German Broadcasting (NDR) organization, it was noted that those who use, like, or comment on the 'From the river to the sea' slogan on social media will not be able to become German citizens.
The history of the 'From the river to the sea' slogan dates back to the 1960s. The slogan, which was used by the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) at that time, expresses the aim of completely liberating Palestine from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, that is, including Israeli territory.
The dual citizenship law in Germany came into effect on June 27.
