Government falls in Guinea
The leader of Guinea's transitional government, President Mamadi Doumbouya, has dissolved the government.
In a statement read on state television by Presidential Secretary Amara Camara, it was announced that the government led by Prime Minister Bernard Goumou had been dissolved by presidential decree.
No explanation was provided regarding the reason for the dissolution.
Lieutenant Colonel Doumbouya seized power on September 5, 2021, by overthrowing President Alpha Conde.
