The Greek press announced that a state of emergency decision was taken on the island of Karpathos in the Aegean Sea due to the drop in the dam's water level and the expected increase in water consumption until the summer season.
It was reported that the decision taken by the Greek Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy will be valid for 3 months.
