GTA 6 retail price officially announced
The countdown is nearing its end for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), one of the most anticipated titles in the history of the gaming world.
One day before the pre-order process begins, Rockstar Games has announced the official pricing and edition details for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI. The title, which exceeds price expectations in the industry, will be released for consoles in the fall.
With only one day left until the start of the pre-order process, Take-Two, the parent company of developer Rockstar Games, has officially announced the long-awaited pricing and edition details. The "high price" rumors that have been circulating in the industry for a long time have been confirmed with the shared press release.
PRICES ARE OFFICIAL: STANDARD EDITION IS 80 US DOLLARS
The high-price listings previously seen at some retailers in Europe had sparked major debate among players. However, the official announcement shows that GTA 6 will set a new price standard in the gaming industry. Considering the game's massive development budget and marketing costs, Rockstar has, as expected, moved above current AAA game prices.
The announced official price packages are as follows:
Standard Edition: 79.99 US Dollars (Approximately 3,720 Turkish Lira)
Ultimate Edition: 99.99 US Dollars (Approximately 4,650 Turkish Lira)
