Halloween celebrated in Saudi Arabia

On the other hand, Halloween celebrations in Turkey were met with mixed reactions. Colorful costumes and parties were criticized by some segments of society. In particular, the detention of a young man who wore an imam costume and carried a beer bottle sparked controversy. This young man was released shortly after.

While these celebrations in Turkey are subjected to accusations of 'immorality,' they are seen as the new face of tourism in Saudi Arabia. This differing approach between the two countries highlights the perception of Halloween in Eastern societies.
