Hamas confirms the death of Abu Obeida, spokesperson for the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades
Hamas has confirmed that Abu Obeida, the spokesperson for its military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, lost his life in an Israeli strike.
Hamas has issued a message of condolence regarding high-ranking figures who lost their livesin Israeli attacks. In its statement, Hamas confirmed that Gaza leader Mohammed Sinwar, Rafah Brigade Commander Mohammed Shabana, and one of the senior figures of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hakim al-Issa,as well as the spokesperson for the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades,known by the name Abu Obeida,whose real name is Abdallah al-Kahlout, were killed in Israeli strikes.
Hamas, in itsWith this statement, it referred to Abu Obeida by his real name for the first time and shared a photograph in which his face was visible.
Israel had previously reported that Sinwar and Shabana were killed last May, al-Issa in June, and Abu Obeida in August. The reports of their deaths have now been confirmed.
