Abu Obeida stated that they have repeatedly proposed a deal that would see all hostages released at once and a comprehensive ceasefire, while noting that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected this offer.
Spokesperson Abu Obeida stated that they will not accept a temporary ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
Accusing Israel of intransigence, Obeida said, "If Israel withdraws from the current negotiations, we do not promise that a partial proposal for the release of 10 hostages will be presented again."
Obeida added, "Our fighters are prepared to continue a long war of attrition."
