Hamas has handed over 2 Israeli hostages in Gaza to Red Cross officials.
Hamas has reportedly handed over 2 Israeli hostages in the blockaded Gaza Strip to officials from the International Committee of the Red Cross to be brought to their country.
HOSTAGES ARE ON THEIR WAY
In a statement from the Israeli military, it was reported that the Red Cross had conveyed that it had received the 2 Israeli hostages in Gaza. It was noted that the 2 hostages in question had reached Israeli territory and were on their way to the Hatzerim Airbase in the south of the country.
It was stated that more Israeli hostages are expected to be handed over to Red Cross officials within a few hours.
LATEST STATUS IN HOSTAGE EXCHANGE
Within the framework of the hostage exchange agreement reached between Israel and Hamas as part of the "humanitarian pause" deal, 75 Israeli hostages from the Gaza Strip and 210 Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons have been released so far.
