Harsh words from Lavrov to Zelensky! 'A pathetic person'

While the Ukrainian delegation had not yet set foot in Istanbul for the ceasefire negotiations held between Russia and Ukraine in recent days, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov used harsh language regarding Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his statement on the matter. Lavrov stated, "Zelenskiy made some statements demanding that Putin come in person. He is a pathetic person."

Blaming the UK for the collapse of the Russia-Ukraine negotiations that ended in Istanbul in 2022, Lavrov said, "The British are guiding Zelensky like a guide in the jungle of world politics. There is no sign that Berlin, Paris, Brussels, and especially London want peace in Ukraine. On the contrary, there is plenty of evidence that they do not want it."

"WE WILL NOT FORGET THE TRAGEDY IN THE GAZA STRIP"

Describing the policy of NATO countries as "reckless," Lavrov said that more focus should be placed on the Gaza Strip than on Ukraine. Lavrov stated, "Ukraine is currently on everyone's lips in connection with the intrigues unfolding in Istanbul. But we will not forget the tragedy in the Gaza Strip, or other problems in Palestinian territories and the Middle East in general."
