He had killed 11 people: Identity of the school attacker in Sweden revealed

An armed attack took place at a school providing education to immigrants in the Swedish city of Örebro. Swedish media announced in reports today that the attacker was a Swedish man named Rickard Andersson. Swedish police reported that Andersson died during the confrontation.

WHAT DID WITNESSES SAY?

Witnesses who survived the attack provided information about Andersson's terrorist act. According to witness statements, the attacker wandered around the school trying to find his 'targets.' According to the witnesses, during his raid on the school, Andersson opened fire on people he encountered multiple times before police teams arrived.

A 28-year-old witness who was at the school during the attack said, 'I heard three explosions and screams. The police arrived and told us to wait for the evacuation.'

Nursing student Hellen Werme recounted that she heard the attacker's footsteps while walking in the hallway and survived by hiding behind a bed. Math teacher Andreas Sundling stated that when the classroom door was broken down, they thought, 'We are dead now,' but it turned out to be the police.

Hashim Shams, who survived the attack, stayed alive by hiding in a restroom. In footage he shared on social media, a voice shouting 'Get out of Europe' could be heard amidst the gunfire. However, it has not been clarified whether this voice belonged to the attacker.

Hashim was safely evacuated after police officers entered the restroom stall to search for him. In the footage, Hashim was seen writing 'People are calling for help' while waiting silently for assistance.

It was learned that the attacker rarely saw his parents and constantly hid his face. A friend noted that Andersson had social phobia and walked around covering his mouth with his hands.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Due to Andersson's sympathies for far-right groups, the possibility that he carried out the attack with an anti-immigrant motivation is being investigated.
