Hezbollah has carried out another retaliatory strike against Israel's attacks targeting Lebanon.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that sirens sounded in the country's central and southern regions due to a new rocket attack launched by Hezbollah from Lebanon.
Additionally, it was reported that early warning systems were activated in the city of Ashdod in the country's south.
It was stated that the missile attack was intercepted near Ashdod and, according to initial reports, did not result in any injuries.
The Israeli press noted that Hezbollah's latest retaliation targeted the interior of the country rather than areas along the Lebanese border, reporting that this was one of the Hezbollah attacks that reached deepest into Israel during the ongoing war.
