Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem has broken his silence following the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria. Drawing attention to Israel's attacks on Syria, Qassem stated that he hopes the new administration will view Israel as an enemy and will not normalize relations with it.

Noting that Hezbollah has lost its military supply route through Syria following the fall of Bashar al-Assad, Qassem said, "We will seek other routes."
MESSAGE TO ISRAEL
Stating that Israel's seizure of a buffer zone in the occupied Golan Heights is proof that Syria is facing a dangerous expansionist enemy, Qassem said he hopes the new administration will view Israel as an enemy and will not normalize relations with Israel.
"THE SYRIAN PEOPLE HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT"
In his speech, the Hezbollah leader stated, "We hope that all parties and forces will be included in the new government to be established in Syria. The Syrian people have the right to choose their own government and constitution."
