Hezbollah leader Nasrallah on retaliation: First phase completed

Tensions in northern Israel are rising with each passing day. Mutual attacks have been ongoing since last night. Referring to the strikes they carried out in Lebanon this morning, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said, "Whoever harms us, we will harm them," and stated that they have instructed the Israeli army to eliminate the "threat."

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah delivered a speech at 18:00. Announcing that the first phase of Hezbollah's retaliation against Israel has been completed, Nasrallah stated that Israeli military bases and barracks were targeted.

A statement from Hezbollah noted that the attacks were carried out in retaliation for the killing of their senior commander Fuad Shukr last month. It was noted that the first phase of the attacks has been completed.

Stating that they decided not to attack civilian areas, Nasrallah said, "We targeted a military intelligence base 110 kilometers inside Israeli territory, 1.5 kilometers away from Tel Aviv."

Nasrallah used the expression, "We sent Katyusha rockets to distract the Iron Dome so that our unmanned aerial vehicles could enter Israeli airspace."

Stating that the missiles were not damaged in Israeli attacks, Nasrallah threatened, "We did not intend to use precision missiles today, but we may use them in the near future."
