Historic church bombed in Gaza: Many dead and wounded
A historic church where those displaced from the Gaza Strip had taken refuge has been severely damaged in a bombing attack. It has been reported that there are dead and wounded in the attack.
The Ministry of Interior in Gaza announced that Israel targeted a Greek Orthodox Church in Gaza. It was reported that "many people were killed and wounded" as a result of the Israeli attack on the church, where hundreds of displaced Palestinians had taken refuge.

According to the report by the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, 1 girl lost her life in the attack carried out by Israel on the historic Saint Porphyrius Greek Orthodox Church, located in the Ez-Zeytun neighborhood in the south of Gaza City. While the historic church sustained serious damage in the attack, a building located near the church was also destroyed.
CHURCH IS VERY CLOSE TO THE BOMBED HOSPITAL
The Saint Porphyrius Greek Orthodox Church, affiliated with the Anglican Church in Jerusalem, is located approximately 250 meters from the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, which Israel bombed on October 17, causing the deaths of hundreds of people. Among the information received is that approximately 1,000 Christians live in the area attacked by Israel, and those whose homes were destroyed had taken refuge in the church and its affiliated buildings for protection.
