A hearing regarding Gutsul's detention was held at a court in Chisinau. During the hearing, it was decided that Gutsul, who had previously been detained for 20 days, would remain under house arrest for 30 days. Gutsul's lawyer, Natalya Bayram, stated that they would appeal the court's decision.

'WE WILL CONTINUE THE STRUGGLE'

Speaking to members of the press after the hearing, Gagauz Autonomous Region Governor Gutsul emphasized that the house arrest decision was also unjust, stating, "We will continue our struggle. We will fight for justice to be served. The house arrest decision also means a restriction of freedom. We will continue to prove that I am innocent."

Describing the accusations against her as 'political,' Gutsul said, "All of this is being done both to mislead civil society and to suppress opposition forces in the country. What is happening today can be defined as pressure on the Gagauz people. Chisinau is trying to show its power."
