Houthis strike Saudi-owned tanker

The Houthis announced, "We have struck two Saudi-owned oil tankers in the Red Sea with UAVs and missiles."

Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree stated in a video statement that they had carried out an attack on two Saudi-owned oil tankers named "ENCELIA" and "LAYLA".

Emphasizing that the ships in question were targeted for violating the transit ban decision, Saree said, "The targeting operation was carried out with a large number of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and UAVs, and direct hits were achieved."

"FORCED TO TURN BACK"

Continuing to share details regarding their military activities in the region, Saree stated, "In the same context, the Yemeni Armed Forces (Houthis) have forced approximately 10 ships to withdraw and turn back."

Issuing a direct warning to the Saudi Arabian administration, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said, "As the Yemeni Armed Forces, we would like to emphasize to the enemy, Saudi Arabia, that any stupidity or attack targeting our country will be met with major operations carried out deep within its territory."

The Iran-backed Houthis announced on July 20 that they had begun "implementing a naval blockade" against Saudi Arabia.
