Houthis target Saudi Arabian oil tanker

The naval blockade imposed by the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen on Saudi Arabia continues. The Houthis announced that they targeted the Saudi Arabian oil tanker named NCC GHAZAL with ballistic missiles for violating the blockade and failing to respond to warnings.

In a written statement issued by the Houthis, it was stated, "The Yemeni Armed Forces conducted a military operation targeting the Saudi oil vessel NCC GHAZAL due to its violation of the maritime navigation ban imposed on the Saudi enemy and its refusal to heed warning calls. During the operation, a series of ballistic missiles were fired at the ship, and the vessel was forced to turn back."

The statement also addressed the blockade and attacks on Iran, emphasizing that the decision to maintain a naval blockade against Saudi Arabia will continue to be implemented within the framework of the principle of "blockade for blockade" and escalating tensions to the same level.
