IAEA Chief Grossi: No evidence that Iran is producing a nuclear bomb
International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi reiterated that there is no evidence that Iran is producing a nuclear bomb, stating, "Nevertheless, the fact that they possess a large stockpile of uranium enriched to levels close to weapons-grade, and their refusal to grant inspectors full access for inspections, is a serious cause for concern."
International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi made statements regarding Iran's nuclear program on his social media account.
Reiterating that there is no evidence that Iran is producing a nuclear bomb, Grossi stated, "Nevertheless, the fact that they possess a large stockpile of uranium enriched to levels close to weapons-grade, and their refusal to grant inspectors full access for inspections, is a serious cause for concern."
Referring to previous IAEA reports, Grossi assessed, "As stated in our reports, unless Iran assists the IAEA in resolving outstanding safeguards issues, the agency will not be in a position to provide assurance that Iran's nuclear program is exclusively peaceful."
