Ignoring warnings: Netanyahu makes statement on 'military operation in Rafah'!
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that despite international warnings, they will soon launch a military operation against Hamas in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip. Netanyahu stated that intense fighting in the region would last for several weeks.
Evaluating the issue of a military operation in Rafah to Bild and Politico, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated, "We are going to go there (to Rafah). We are not going to leave. You know, I have a red line. You know what the red line is from October 7. It will never happen again."
"FIGHTING WILL LAST SEVERAL WEEKS"
Netanyahu stated that once they begin a military operation in Rafah, the phase of intense fighting will take several weeks to complete, and claimed, without naming them, that he has the tacit support of many Arab leaders to continue the offensive against Hamas.
REJECTED TWO-STATE SOLUTION
Using the phrase, "We do not want to see a Palestinian state after October 7," Netanyahu rejected the two-state solution proposals coming from the international community.
Furthermore, Netanyahu, who also turned down the idea of a ceasefire for the month of Ramadan, conveyed that he wants to see the release of Israeli hostages but does not see any progress in the negotiations.
BIDEN: IT IS DOING MORE HARM THAN GOOD TO ISRAEL
US President Joe Biden said that a ground operation by Israel in the Gaza city of Rafah, where more than 1.3 million Palestinians are sheltering, would be a "red line" for him, but also added that he would not leave Israel alone in the war.
Joe Biden said he believes that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's approach to the war against Hamas in Gaza is "hurting Israel more than helping Israel."
