Intense air attack from Iran on northern Israel: Retaliations continue
While US President Donald Trump continues to make statements claiming that Iran has been defeated, Iran continues to carry out retaliatory attacks against Israel. Most recently, as Trump was making his statement, Iranian missiles targeting the city of Safed in northern Israel caused sirens to sound.
Following the retaliations launched by Iran, missile fragments struck several points in northern Israel.
Sirens sounded in numerous cities across northern Israel, particularly in Haifa.
Israel's Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that missile fragments fell in various locations and that one fragment directly hit a building in Hadera, near Haifa.
AT LEAST 7 PEOPLE INJURED
At least 7 people were injured after one of the missiles fired by Iran at Israel struck the city of Bnei Brak.
The Israeli press alleged that one of the missiles carried cluster munitions. Numerous buildings and vehicles were damaged in the attack.
The Fars News Agency reported that two energy infrastructure facilities were targeted yesterday in the cities of Isfahan and Khorramshahr during US-Israeli attacks on Iran.
Violent explosions were also heard at intervals in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
Iran's retaliations against Gulf countries also continued. Saudi Arabia announced that 19 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were neutralized in the Eastern Province (Ash Sharqiyah). Kuwait announced that 7 power lines were disabled.
