Iran: 4 people linked to Mossad executed
Four people accused of spying for Israel have been executed in Iran.
In Iran, the sentences of 4 people who were sentenced to death in a trial where they were accused of operating on behalf of the Israeli intelligence service Mossad have been carried out.
According to the Fars News Agency, Mohammad Faramarzi, Mohsen Mazloum, Vafa Azarbar, and Pejman Fatehi were executed in the morning hours.
It had been stated that the individuals, who were alleged to be members of the anti-regime Komala organization, had infiltrated Iran from northern Iraq and were detained while preparing to plan an attack on a defense industry facility in Isfahan.
The 4 individuals in question were sentenced to death on September 18, 2023, for working for the Israeli intelligence service Mossad.
