Iran categorically denies missile attacks

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei, in statements made via Iranian state television, categorically denied the recent allegations of attacks against Turkey and Azerbaijan.

Baghaei stated that the Tehran administration has not launched any missile or drone attacks against Turkish territory or the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, declaring, "These allegations do not reflect the truth." He further noted that existing tensions and misunderstandings have been largely resolved through diplomatic contacts conducted at the leadership level.

Suggesting that foreign actors are behind the rising tension in the region, Baghaei targeted the US and Israel. The spokesperson claimed that these two countries are "systematically carrying out operations aimed at creating chaos in the region," arguing that this is not a conspiracy theory but a repeated strategy.

WARNING TO NEIGHBORING COUNTRIES

Calling on neighboring countries, Baghaei stated, "No country should allow its territory to be used for attacks against Iran." He emphasized that such developments directly threaten regional stability.

Baghaei also indirectly addressed the debates surrounding ballistic missiles allegedly launched from Iran toward Adana, Turkey, and kamikaze drones reportedly targeting the airport in Nakhchivan. He warned that such "deceptive actions" increase the risk of the war spreading.

CRITICISM OF THE ISRAELI ADMINISTRATION

Criticizing the Israeli administration with harsh words, Baghaei claimed that Tel Aviv is not seeking peace and stability in the region, but rather profiting from conflicts. The Iranian official, who argued that regional tensions are shaped more by "personal and group interests" than by strategic necessities, stated that his country "supports a rules-based international order."
