Iran claims to have destroyed two Israeli F-35 fighter jets

A statement has been released regarding the retaliatory attack from Iran against Israel.

In a statement issued by the Public Relations Unit of the Iranian Armed Forces, it was announced that two Israeli F-35 fighter jets and a large number of UAVs were successfully shot down and destroyed by air defense systems.

The statement noted that the fate of the pilots of the downed fighter jets is not yet known and that the matter is being investigated.

DENIAL FROM ISRAEL

The Israeli military argued that reports claiming Iran shot down two Israeli aircraft do not reflect the truth.

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee shared reports on the subject from the Iranian press on his X account.

Adraee claimed, "These reports spread by Iranian media are completely baseless."

The images shared and denied by the spokesperson included claims from the Tasnim News Agency that Iranian air defense systems had shot down 2 Israeli fighter jets and that a female pilot had been captured.
