Iran closes Strait of Hormuz following US attacks
Following a new US attack on Iran, the Strait of Hormuz has been closed to ship traffic once again.
Announcing that the Strait of Hormuz has been closed to all ship traffic, including oil tankers and commercial vessels, Iran warned that any ship attempting to pass through the strait would be targeted.
The Iranian Armed Forces announced that two ships attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz were struck for violating the restrictions.
TWO SHIPS REPORTEDLY STRUCK
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced in a written statement that two ships attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz had been struck.
The statement included the phrase, "Two ships attempting to make an illegal passage through the Strait of Hormuz were struck."
