Iran opens Strait of Hormuz to transit for 2 weeks
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated, "Safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz will be possible for a two-week period, in coordination with the Iranian Armed Forces and while observing technical restrictions."
Iran has opened the Strait of Hormuz to transit following a temporary ceasefire reached with the US and Israel.
In a written statement, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi thanked Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistani Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir for their diplomatic efforts in the negotiations between the US and Iran, stating, "If attacks against Iran are halted, our powerful Armed Forces will end their defensive operations.
