The Iranian side has reacted to the announcement that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu secretly visited the UAE and met with the country's president, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, while attacks on Iran were ongoing.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized in a message shared on his social media account that Iranian security units had previously informed the Iranian leadership about the development, stating, "Being hostile to the great Iranian people is a foolish gamble. Doing so while secretly collaborating with Israel is unforgivable." Criticizing the UAE without naming it, Araghchi said, "Those who try to sow seeds of discord by collaborating with Israel will be held accountable."
