Iran sets condition for negotiations with the US
Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Mohsen Rezaee, announced that there will be no negotiations until Tehran's conditions are met.
Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Mohsen Rezaee, stated in a declaration regarding the military tension with the US that his country expects its conditions for negotiations to be fulfilled.
Sharing on his social media account, Rezaee referred to previous conflicting messages from US President Donald Trump, stating, "Do not let the contradictory messages of the US president, ranging from 'no negotiations' to 'we are ready to talk,' distract you."
Rezaee argued that the war he claims has been launched against Iran has altered the balance regarding oil and the straits. "Damage control cannot stop what is coming. There will be no negotiations until Iran's conditions are met. Period," said Rezaee, reiterating Tehran's current stance.
