Iran strikes US bases in the Gulf! 'If the aggression is repeated...'
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that retaliatory strikes had been carried out against US bases in the Gulf region, stating, "If the aggression is repeated, our response will be more comprehensive than this."
Following the recent US attacks on Iran, a counter-move has come from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). In a statement broadcast via Iranian state television, the IRGC reported that US bases in the Gulf region were targeted with retaliatory strikes. The statement included the following: "If the aggression is repeated, our response will be more comprehensive than this." the statement read.
STERN WARNING FROM THE IRGC TO THE US
The statement argued that the US had violated the terms of the agreement reached with Iran, asserting that the Washington administration "did not comply with the agreement" and "did not fulfill its commitments."
On the other hand, the IRGC's claim regarding the attack on US bases in the Gulf region has not yet been confirmed by Gulf countries.
IRAN'S REACTION TO US ATTACKS
The US military had announced that it struck specific targets in Iran in response to an attack on a commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.
İbrahim Azizi, Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, stated that the US had attacked Iran once again while negotiations were ongoing, warning, "This reckless violation of the ceasefire will, as always, lead to their retreat and regret."
