Iran: The mother of all bombs cannot stop our nuclear activities

Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps spokesperson Hossein Mohebbi stated that while the US could use the bomb known as the "mother of all bombs," it would not stop Iran's nuclear industry activities. Mohebbi also remarked, "The Strait of Hormuz has cornered the US economically and politically. Trump has lost the House of Representatives 100 percent. Furthermore, the number of oil tankers hit has increased."

Mohebbi expressed that the US might use the bomb known as the "mother of all bombs," but that this would not force Iran to surrender nor would it ensure the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Stating that the use of such a bomb would not be able to halt Iran's nuclear industry activities, spokesperson Mohebbi added that the US would also fail to achieve its goals of shortening Iran's missile range with such an attack.

Arguing that a potential new war would put the world economy in a difficult position, Mohebbi drew attention to the effects of the Strait of Hormuz remaining closed on the global economy.

"THE NUMBER OF OIL TANKERS HIT HAS INCREASED"

Mohebbi stated, "The Strait of Hormuz has cornered the US economically and politically. Trump has lost the House of Representatives 100 percent. Furthermore, the number of oil tankers hit has increased. The US wants to show that it is securing energy supplies and lowering oil prices ahead of the upcoming elections."

Noting that 5 million tons of chemical fertilizer are exported daily from the Persian Gulf, Mohebbi said that its absence causes the prices of agricultural products to rise.

Revolutionary Guard Corps spokesperson Mohebbi noted that 10 percent of the world's aluminum passes through the Strait of Hormuz, and that a large portion of the materials needed for chip production are exported to the world from Saudi Arabia.
