Iranian delegation departs from Pakistan
The Iranian delegation has departed from Pakistan following 21 hours of negotiations with the US.
The first round of negotiations between Iran and the US, hosted by Pakistan, has concluded.
Following the 21-hour negotiation, which yielded no results, the Iranian delegation departed from Pakistan. It is not yet known whether a second round of talks between the US and Iran will take place.
In a statement regarding the negotiations, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said, "Before the negotiations, I emphasized that we possess good intentions and the necessary will; however, due to the experiences of the previous two wars, we do not trust the other side.

My colleagues in the Iranian delegation proposed 168 initiatives aimed at progress, but the other side failed to earn the trust of the Iranian delegation during this round of negotiations.
The US has understood our logic and our principles. Now it is time to make a decision. Will they be able to earn our trust, or will they not?"
