Araghchi's visit comes ahead of the second round of nuclear talks between the US and Iran, which will be held in Rome, the capital of Italy, on Saturday, April 19.
It was reported that Araghchi delivered a message from Iranian leader Ali Khamenei to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Emphasizing that Iran always consults with Russia on nuclear issues, Araghchi noted that Khamenei's letter to Putin covers international, regional, and bilateral matters.
