Iranian military announces it has downed 12 US and Israeli UAVs

The Iranian Army Public Relations Unit announced that 12 combat and reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles belonging to the US and Israel were detected at various points in the country by the integrated air defense system affiliated with the Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Headquarters.
Officials reported that these assets were successfully destroyed by the air defense system.
The statement also noted that air defense systems are on high alert and that operations to protect the country's airspace are ongoing.
