Following a round of negotiations held between Iran and the US in Switzerland, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, who led the Iranian delegation, has arrived in Oman.
Ghalibaf will hold discussions regarding new regulations for the Strait of Hormuz.
Ghalibaf, who was welcomed by Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi, will also meet with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman.
In addition to Ghalibaf, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will also participate in the meetings.
