Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf: Iran's response will accelerate the collapse of the Israeli army

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf evaluated Israel's recent military actions in a statement on his social media account.

Referring to the warning by Israeli Deputy Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir in the security cabinet that "the Israeli army is at risk of collapse," Ghalibaf said, "The Israeli Deputy Chief of Staff warned, 'I am raising 10 red flags; the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will collapse from within.'

The criminal Zionist regime is trying to ignore these warnings by escalating tensions and targeting Iran's industrial infrastructure, while simultaneously attempting to restore confidence in its cabinet and army. However, Iran's harsh response will further accelerate this ongoing collapse," he stated.

Warning of "risk of collapse" in the Israeli army

Israeli Deputy Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir had previously pointed out a personnel crisis in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) during a security cabinet meeting. Noting that the army is "at risk of collapse" due to the increasing operational burden and soldier shortages, Zamir had said, "I am raising 10 warning flags before the IDF collapses from within." Zamir also emphasized the need for new legal regulations regarding the mandatory military service and reserve system, stating, "Before long, the IDF will not be ready for its routine duties, and the reserve system will lose its functionality."
