Iranian passengers return home from Istanbul: 'We will burn them'
As US and Israeli attacks on Iran continue, Iranians living in Istanbul have begun traveling to their country by bus. A bus driver used harsh language against America and Israel, stating, "We will make America regret this. We will make Trump and Netanyahu regret this. We will burn them."
On the fifth day of the air operations launched by the United States and Israel against Iran on February 28, Iranian citizens in Istanbul are leaving Turkey to be with their families and their country.
Due to the cancellation of flights, many people are traveling by land to various cities, primarily Tehran.
While there is heavy activity at bus terminals, passengers expressed their reactions to the attacks. An Iranian living in Istanbul stated, "I am not returning right now, but our citizens are going to Iran. I will stay here and continue to wait."
Recep Bakiri, one of the bus captains who will transport passengers to Iran, expressed his feelings harshly, saying, "They will regret it; they have nothing they can do. As the Iranian nation, we will burn them there. We will sink their ships there. We will also sink Trump there; we are Iranians. We have our weapons, our language, our roots, our villages, and our homeland. We love our homeland. We would give our lives for our homeland. But we will make America regret this. We will make Trump and Netanyahu regret this. We will burn them. I am a captain, a bus driver. It takes 24 hours from here. We make one trip a week. Flights from Tehran to Istanbul are closed."
